Things I Didn't Anticipate Pre-Parenthood

I used to say I wanted 6 kids--all boys.  But I didn't know . . .
  • How much noise three boys could produce with absolutely no effort,
  • That they could all be converted and baptized in the religion of baseball,
  • How pungent their individual, summer-lovin' body odor could become, and
  • That a fourth pregnancy could seemingly last longer than all three previous pregnancies put together.
How did I get myself into this?

  1. If you have to ask you are on your way to the six you originally wanted.
