I've been suffering from an absence of creativity recently. There's jewelry to be made, new robots to build, and shows to get ready for.
Yet, I sit.
Perhaps it has something to do with the kids being out of school. I'm hoping a creative wind blows this way soon.

Update
So Art in the Park went well. Several of my middle-to-small robots found new homes, and I sold some steampunk jewelry, too.
Unfortunately, I've gotten next to nothing done this week to replenish my supply. Life has a way of doing that, I suppose. Between Field Day, getting sick this week, and having my son's 8th birthday, I've been exhausted! And tonight we're having a sleepover with three boys from his class. (Wish me luck!)
However, I did get an exciting package this week. A mantle clock case from the late 1800's that I'm hoping to turn into an ipod player for that steampunk competition! Pictures to follow . . .

Art in the Park
Tomorrow is Art in the Park. I'm crossing my fingers for good weather (mostly just no rain or gale-force winds). This will be my first show with only my work in it . . . not the fun-filled jewelry of my sister's accompanying it. I'm a little bit nervous.
I've made a variety of small-to-medium robots to see if they sell. I'm really, really hoping this is THE year for robots, and I can make them to my heart's content. Believe me, my house is really filling up with them, so I need them to sell to make more room.
Wish me luck!
